Shall We Kiss? What A Difference A Teaser Makes!

I believe I’ve mentioned before that, ever since hearing about the premise for Should We Kiss First?, I’ve been on the lookout for it — ready and eager for it to hit my computer screen so I can settle in and watch some middle-aged romance. As a matter of fact, while researching this post, I was saddened to realize that the show doesn’t start until the end of the month rather than the 6th (ie today) as I had originally thought. What a blow, guys. Instead of watching the drama, I thought I’d check out the teaser I had found.

It was everything I want this show to be.

It’s moody and beautiful, full of longing, angst and cozy. The song in the background is great, made me think, not only am I going to love this drama, but I’m also going to love the OST. W00-hoo two for one. Kim Sun Ah has a little bit of the kookie Kim Sun Ah that she adds onto every character she plays –or at least the ones I’ve seen her in– but those heart melty looks from the hero more than made up for that. “Bring on the melo,” said Stephanie’s brain.

When I clicked to get the youtube link for the video as I had planned an ‘I can’t wait, I can’t wait, I can’t wait’ post, I saw that there were a few other teasers out there. As I was smitten with that I had seen, I figured I’d continue on. What I found? LOOKS LIKE AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT DRAMA! Don’t believe me? (First off, how dare you) Check it out for yourself:

What the fudge is that drama? What exactly is the show that we’re being given here? I’m not really sure and am a little afraid to find out. I can tell you, I want to watch the shit out of drama number one. Drama number two? I’m not a huge fan of over the top slapstick and, if it’s a mix, which it would have to be as we definitely have video evidence of some moody times, I’m not sure how they are going to fit together. I wonder if it’s going to be something like City Hall, which started out all light-hearted slapstick and ends up all broody and angsty with a few light-hearted moments thrown in. I’ll tell you which City Hall I liked, that the would be the second half.

Is this enough to deter me from the drama? Nope. It’s enough to deter me from not watching that teaser again. I’m interested enough to continue to wait for the premiere. I’ll just do that from over here in the corner, biting my nails and waiting for the best.

Did you check out the teasers? What do you think? Are you #Team Melo Teaser or #Team Slapstick Teaser?

I’m so confused…You’re right…those look like completely different dramas!! Also, the first one’s song is by Lifehouse… Is it fanmade?

Are you watching this Rebekah? I’ve been thwarted by the Viki pass. Will have to wait until they deem me worthy to watch.
