I saw this picture and I thought “THIS is what the world needs right now. A gorgeous guy with a gorgeous kitten.” You’re welcome.
Also what we need right now? The kind of steamy romance that makes our panties go flying off. So I present to you, Yoo Yeon Seok, in his latest drama thats airing right now, Doctor Romantic (Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim).
This is the first episode, you guys. THE FIRST EPISODE. Special thanks to Wendilynn for drawing it to my attention. And if you think thats great, check this one out.
WOOSH! (There goes my Friday pair!) Who else here said “HELL, YES” out loud?
I feel like Yoo Yeon Seok is under appreciated. I almost never hear him mentioned when people talk about sexy actors, but he’s done some really fantastic leading man stuff.
My first introduction to Yoo Yeon Seok was last summer’s Hong Sister drama, Warm and Cozy/Jeju Island Gatsby. I’ve heard some people didn’t like it, but I really enjoyed it largely because I enjoyed him.
Maybe because it was early on in my drama watching experience and I had nothing to compare it to? But I thought it was the perfect summer romp with a handsome, spoiled, playboy that didn’t irritate me.
I also admired him in Hyolyn’s, One Way Love. Except for that blue leather vest. “Hyolyn, dear heart, you can just tell the guy is a douche by the vest. You should have known better.”
He’d distressingly good at playing a bad guy. He can make his face so cold and dead. Still beautiful though, like a snake.
I wasn’t sure I’d get back my warm and fuzzy feelings for him after his role in A Werewolf Boy. But I managed to come around since I’ve seen him in a lot more cute roles than scary ones. He’s adorable as Chil Bong in Reply 1994.
And I think between his eyes, his lips, and the intense way he looks at a girl, he should be considered seriously sexy. If you’ve not spent any time on his movies, go do that now.
Anyway, I am really looking forward to more of him playing a heartthrob in Doctor Romantic. This is just the thing to cheer me up. See you next week!
