We were all just wondering when someone was going to tour here, turns out next up is CL. Now, I know this is a bit of a cheat as she’s here trying to push her entry into the US market, but considering she doesn’t currently have enough US content to fill a show, Dr. Pepper, Hello Bitches, and whatever that new song is, there has to be some K-content in there, right?
And I don’t know about the other venues but the Hammerstein Ballroom in NY, is not a huge venue. I remember seeing Infinite there and my cheap seats in the balcony were just fine for me. Of course this being CL, I’m fairly certain I’d want to get closer. Maybe. If I go. Is just CL enough of a draw to get me to break into my moving fund? As much as I really like her, I don’t think that she is.
Tickets are a little pricey, however, for the cost of a BigBang P2 ticket you could actually meet CL and have your picture taken with her. You know what we got for BigBang? Jack. Well. I got to see soundcheck. So that in itself might be enough of a draw to get people to shell out that three hundred bucks. Upside to her working from here, trying to break in? More dates than your usual Kpop artist. See what I mean?
Now, while I don’t love her new song, actually listening to it without watching the video, makes the whole thing a lot more enjoyable. Did you see her performing on the Late, Late Show? He’s adorable. I wish I could have seen him interviewing her. Could you imagine him attempting Korean Carpool Karaoke? Now that is something I’d pay to get cable for.
So, do you think you’re going to go? Or will you hold off for the next Kpop artist? If you do want to go, you will be able to purchase your tickets here.
