No Heechul, no! One of my favorite Kpop Instagrammers, Heechul from Super Junior has shut down his Instagram. Why, Heechul Why? Do you hate me? Do you want to take away joy from our humdrum lives? That’s it, isn’t it?
Not kidding guys. I loved Heechuls Instagram page. He was such a special little snowflake. A preening, gaudy snowflake. It was actually through his Instagram that I realized just how much I liked him. Through his Instagram that I came to have him as my Super Junior bias — narrowly edging out the reigning Eunhyuk. I’ve never once regretted it.
But alas, he has shut it down.
Hopefully not for long as apparently this is not the first time he’s shut down social media. Maybe once he’s worked through whatever stress he’s going through, he’ll come back to us. Wouldn’t that be nice?
There are some who say that this is in reaction to one of his bandmates being caught driving (or hitting streetlights) while intoxicated. This is bad! We completely understand why you would be upset, Mr. Heechul. But why punish the rest of us? (Insert pouty face.)
Let’s all cross our fingers very, very tightly and maybe he’ll come back to us. Please? Please? Pretty please?
Oh noes. Maybe it’s me. Maybe this is my fault. It was just this weekend where I learned he was planning on coming to NY with a bunch of the other Super Junior guys for a fanmeet. Maybe he heard me say “But do I love just Heechul enough to shell out the cash to go? I don’t think so.” Gah! I’m sorry guys. My bad. I’m sorry Heechul. I’m a girl on a budget. I love you. But I don’t love anyone you’re coming with. I’m actually a bit of an LeeTeuk anti-fan. This is not an excuse. It’s an explanation.
Or is this a clever plot on your part to make me buy a ticket? If you cut off my free access, then you think I’ll be forced to buy a fanmeet ticket? I think you underestimate just how poor I am, my friend.
