Hello everybody! Stephanie has agreed to let me try my hand at doing the Khottie of the Week. She gave me a few rules, one of which was that they had to be in Graduate School (only sort of kidding). So, because they are a new obsession of mine, and because I am always surprised how few people know about them, I decided to draw your attention to Kyungil, the leader of the group, History.
And he is actually in Grad school! He’s working on his Masters in Modern Dance. I’m pretty sure his thesis will be: “A Comparison of the Effects of Vertical Versus Horizontal Body Rolls on the Fandom: A Qualitative Study.”
That’s him – front and center. If you’ve not watched the video for “Might Just Die” yet, go do that. Make sure you’re sitting down. If that is not enough for you, there are about 382 x 10 to the 5th versions of the M/V, including a Kyungil-focus version.
As is apparent, Kyungil spends a lot of time working on his body, and his group members all admire him for it. Check out this video of History’s maknae, Yijeong, harassing Kyungil while he is working out and, um, appreciating his glutes.
However, I like him best when he looks soft and relaxed, like the Boy Next Door.
He’s been told he looks cold, but he says he’s actually the sensitive type. I don’t think he looks cold, do you?
Rocking the popular steel-grey hair color.
And I’m loving his look for their newest song, Queen! I wasn’t sure about the headband at first, but its hard to argue with a motorcycle jacket. He also wears a suit, a la James Bond. It’s not to be missed.
After all this, I hope you now join me in appreciating History’s leader, Kyungil, and take the time to explore the rest of the group’s talent and visuals.
Hint: Go watch Psycho.
