Gah, how much do we love BTS? This, this, this much? Yep, I’m going to go with that much. And with how much we’re seeing them topping all of the charts, getting solid hits on the iTunes lists, and winning with the music shows, I’m guessing the BTS Army is just growing.
As I really do like the new song, Fire, which finishes up the last part of their Most Beautiful Moment In Life trilogy. I couldn’t be happier that they are just now becoming hugely popular. However, as a fan from their very first song, part of me can’t help but give a smug ‘neiner neiner‘. Come on. Give me this, it’s not often I’m actually ahead of the curve on something.
The guys killed it on M!Countdown, you can check out their performances here if you missed it:
Save Me (Okay, since you ask so nicely…)
Butterfly (the way Rap Monsters hair is style makes the cut look a little less derpy. Here’s hoping it grows out a bit before KCon. Either of them.)
We even get them being all adorable accepting their award. Awwww…. I luf them. (Yes, that is my very unbiased and professional position.)
Unfortunately, due to scheduling they are only going to be promoting Young Forever for a week. Yes, a week. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that’s silly. But with one of them off to film a drama (yay!), and others, I don’t know, doing their own very important things (hmm….could we please, please, please get another Rap Mon mix tape?) they just couldn’t get it together to do more than that. Hmmm…something tells me someone should have planned ahead better. However, with how well they are doing, perhaps they don’t need to push for longer. Word of mouth seems to be doing just fine for them.
Part of me says the attention is because there aren’t a lot of big names out there with releases. Despite scheduling, they just aren’t up against any big hitters (I love you Akdong Musican, but you were never going to be competition for them.) so maybe this is why they didn’t hold off to release until they could get all the band members to promote for longer. But this part of me is not very nice, so don’t listen to it. This would be true if they weren’t killing it on iTunes as well.
In other good news, Jungkook who originally was going to miss out on all the promotions because he was diagnosed with the flu, says that it was a misdiagnosis and he’ll be back with the boys. To which I say, while I’m happy to see all the guys together, how do you misdiagnosis this flu? Either you have the flu or you don’t. Does he feel sick? It’s the flu. Let him take care of that.
But then again, it is just a week, I legit worked through food poisoning. Then again…again, I work at a computer, I don’t sing and dance for a living. It brings me back to — if the boy is sick — let him be sick! No one wants a sick Kookie.
I feel like I should end on a high note. Umm…Congratulations, boys! Come out with new music again soon. No pressure.
Except, you know, pressure because I want you to come out with new music.
Not even kidding. Get back to work.
Yes, I know Kookie is sick, get him a cot, lay him out in the recording studio.
Just kidding. I’m not a monster.
Just record Kookie’s stuff later. You can do it. I have faith in you.
So get back to work already, you have new fans to appease.
