CNBLUE is out with new music! I’ve got to say, CNBLUE, I like them, I like them a lot. Do I ever remember that I like them? On the peripheral, yes. Do I remember enough to actually listen to their music? Sadly, no. And this is a shame, as a few times lately, I’ve had my music on random and it will get caught in some sort of CNBLUE vortex and I’ll remind myself just how much I like them and will wonder why I don’t listen to them more often.
Then I’ll listen to Rap Mon’s Do You and those thoughts will slip away….
Anyway, apparently, CNBLUE had an album out last year and I missed it, but this one someone sent right over for me to check out. (Obviously this person actually deserves the title of CNBLUE fan, unlike myself.) Usually CNBLUE songs kind of all sound like each other. This isn’t a bad thing. It’s more that CNBLUE has a distinct sound? Style? Theme? Oddly, I love the fact that I can listen to a song and think “Yep, this is CNBLUE.” It’s comforting.
This song though, while quite good, seems to have shaken a bit of the CN off of the BLUE. It’s a pretty good song. Ear-catching. Enough to make me want to check out the rest of the album. The video is very cute as is expected with a CNBLUE video, with our guys being adorable, chasing after the same girl, broken in by shots of them playing instruments. I will say that who ever dresses Yonghwa? With those flowered suits, they are not doing him any favors. Despite that, he is looking quite good, there was a while there where he was looking tired and washed out. Buddy, take some time off, do you—then come back to us. And he did. Sad thing is though, he seems to have lost his giant earrings for good. All that remains are the stretched out holes in his ears. Giant earrings, I shall miss you.
CNBLUE, You’re So Fine
