After watching one episode of the new Hong Sister’s Drama, Warm and Cozy, I wasn’t super compelled to continue. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong with it, it was just… meh.
Well, I say that there wasn’t anything particularly wrong with it, with the exception of the whole issue I had with the heroine putting her mints inside a medicine vial she finds on the counter in the airport bathroom. Seriously. Who does this?
You are putting something you put in your effing mouth—into some stranger’s trash—to be covered in whatever medicine dust was left in there? Ew. She’s just lucky the hero didn’t pick up the vial and find out it was a medicine for some sort of venereal disease—something tells me he wouldn’t be quite so interested.
Actually. You’re both stupid.
But the scenery is lovely. I’m always a sucker for Jeju shots. Luckily, there are plenty a kdrama plotline that likes to take a quick jaunt over to the island so I can vicariously live through them. One of my favorite dramas, Life Is Beautiful, actually takes place there, so it was 60+ episodes of beautiful island scenery.
That in mind, I was fairly certain I would go back to Warm and Cozy, I just wasn’t in any hurry to do it. Until now.
I caught an article on Soompi that Junsu’s dog is being featured on the show. Due to my rabid Junsu fascination, that caught my eye. I figured well, if Junsu stubbornly refuses to be on a drama, at least he sends his dog out in his stead? And I’m sad to say I’m pathetic enough to fall for it. I want to see Junsu’s dog on TV! (Please don’t think less of me.)
Even cooler than that though? The drama is actually filmed at Junsu’s new hotel, Toscana! Duuude. Why didn’t someone tell me this? Were you guys trying to keep this Junsu-related tidbit away from me? Not cool man, not cool.
I am abso-freaking-lutely going to be watching this drama now. I hope it’s good. But again, I’m pathetic enough to not care.
