Music

the lover 3

One thing I like about the cable networks is their willingness to not just use Kindie music, but to promote it throughout the episodes. Yes, it’s probably a cheap way to get out of creating (and buying) an OST, but as someone who loves the Kindie scene, it’s a great way to find new music. Plus? It add something to the drama to have a new song for every moment rather than hammering in the same three songs over and over (and over and over again).

I’ve been watching The Lover and Viki has been subbing not only what they are saying, but when a music plays, they give music credits too. So helpful! But on this weeks episode, there was one song they missed and, of course, I fell in love with the song. It was flipping beautiful! The song sounded oddly familiar, but not. I was worried I’d never be able to figure it out. Then suddenly I had an idea. I replayed the scene and put a snippet of it on Instragram with the following plea.

This scheme worked back when I was in that stationery shop and I’m happy to say it worked again! Kfangurl came through and said it was a song by Zitten. Which is why it sounded familiar! I went through a bit of a Zitten phase a while ago. I’m going to have to go out and find the rest of his music, I have enough evidence to now say I’m a fan. Thanks for the save Kfangurl!

Zitten is my going-to-sleep music.I have this one as well – am I crazy or was it used in another soundtrack, “Beyond the Clouds?”

This post gave my brain a happy. I’m not watching The Lover yet, but I did the clicky thing with the link AND SO MUCH AUDIO-GASM RIGHT NOW AHHHH!

Isn’t it so, so good?? Kindie is a nice place to visit. Although don’t take this post as an approval of The Lover, its still a terrible romance.
