I’m thinking about watching Producers.
Wait. I know what you’re thinking, who am I and what have I done with the real Stephanie? As my intense dislike for Cha Tae Hyun is practically carved in stone (carved with my fingernails after hour upon hour of A Prince’s Firsts Love. Scratch…Scratch…Scratch…)
I was thinking not even my love of Gong Hyo Jin could make me watch–as a matter of fact, my love of Gong Hyo Jin made me dislike Cha Tae Hyun just that much more. How dare he come between me and my Gong Ho Jin? The gall of the man thinking he can replace Jo In Sung?
Ahem. Yeah, I’m a little melodramatic in my ire.
But then I saw a picture, which made me think–maybe Cha Tae Hyun is not the hero. Maybe he’s just one of those big side characters like in On Air (although that was a tragicly flawed drama and probably not the best example) and Cha Tae Hyun and Gong Hyo Jin’s characters are merely old close friends and coworkers. Although with the odd pairings maybe this will be one of the few (very, very few) kdramas out there which has no romance at all.
Today though? I watched the first trailer, and while I am afraid the two may be matched up, I’m more bothered to say I found the whole thing…charming.
It looks cute. Super cute. And while the thought of Gong Hyo Jin and Cha Tae Hyun getting together and *shudder* kissing gives me serious stink face–I think I’m going to try it out.
Que flying pigs.
Oh and side note? How does Kim Soo Hyun look so freaking young in this? What a difference from Stars! It really makes me give him big acting props.
