I didn’t come into KCON a fan of VIXX, actually, I came into KCON knowing there was a VIXX, but not actually having heard any music of theirs at all–ever.
It’s weird, I’m usually such a good researcher, Cherry Cordial even made me a playlist. But I goofed it.
So that had to make them good, right?
Earlier in the day, as I was wandering KCON between panels, determined not to have any fun until my friends had passed the epic line and were able to join me on the inside (what can I say, I’m a loyal bugger) I saw a crowd of people huddled around a small stage, and from my place I was able to see a snappily dressed, perfectly coiffed group of pretty young men smiling brightly–figuring it was a perfect time to whip out my new camera, I snapped some pictures, not actually knowing who they were.
Periodically throughout the day, I would whip out said camera and ask a passerby, do you know who these guys are?
So, when it was their time on stage, I already had a few warm fuzzies pointed in their general direction. They were the first ones on stage, and I’m happy to say, the warm fuzzies did not fail me–they were great!
I liked their songs, they were not super aegeyo, and their dance were fast and fun. Seriously, look at this!
While I may not be Zombiemama level of love, I did come away with from the concert a really big fan, if they come my way, I would definitely shell out money for a ticket, and until then I can’t wait to check out the rest of their music.
I’m not saying this guy is an angel, but…
