Great day in the early evening! As expected, DramaFever announced today that they will be simulcasting Park Yoochun’s and Yoon Eun Hye’s upcoming drama I Miss You. There has been a lot of buzz about this. I think it’s mainly due to the outstanding cast. Come on. Park Yoochun? Yoon Eun Hye? Together as a romantic pairing? I’m not entirely certain if I care what it was about. I’d watch.
Okay. That’s a lie. I do actually have a lot of criteria for the shows I watch. But with that lead couple, I’d be cranky if it weren’t a subject I were interested in. Luckily, while I Miss You looks super angsty, I really can’t wait to see it.
While Faith was a dud as my first simulcast, and I just sort of trailed off after episode 4, I haven’t totally given up on the idea of watching a current show. I Miss You may be the drama I’m looking for.
Since the last time we talked about I Miss You, we now have our B-Guy/villain. Yoo Seung-ho has a large filmography, his most recent work being Arang and the Magistrate (which I hope to see very soon). Apparently he’s going to be a villain with a capital VILL. He’s half brother with our hero, and, as we know from Kdrama past, this never goes well.
I Miss You starts November 7th. We don’t have any posters yet, which is weird since November 7th is next week. We do however have two short trailers. First is very pretty, everyone cries.
In the second one, it’s pretty and everyone cries. However, we’ve got English subtitles which gives us some insights into the plot.
So angsty loveliness abounds–can’t wait!
