So should I be ashamed I watched Dream High in one sitting? Well, one sitting broken up by bathroom and snack breaks?
Anyone? No? Well, we have promised this would be a judgement free zone. (Unless we’re judging dramas.)
As I mentioned on my what’s next post, I had no idea what I was going to watch this weekend. As I sat in front of the TV on Saturday morning I wasn’t any closer to a plan. And then an idea struck! Mustering my courage (due to a weird phobia about checking the mail–dont’ ask) I ran out to the mail box and there it was, my Dream High, Kirin School badge. And two stickers!
Yipee! Kdrama schwag! Apparently the Gods of Kdrama had spoken and my decision was thankfully taken from me. I won’t go into great detail, as that will come later, but I was surprisingly charmed by it. I laughed, I cried, and am now a huge fan of JYP.
Funny story, I was watching the show and trying to place where I had seen the girl who played Hye Mi. I knew she was an idol, but I’m not a huge fan of girl groups, and even with the guy groups I have trouble placing individuals (you know, unless it’s BigBang). The it hit me. It wasn’t through Suzy’s music that I had recognized her, it was from her appearance on the last two episodes of Running Man.
Okay, so maybe it wasn’t a funny story, but it gave me a giggle.
*Sidenote. Review for Can You Hear My Heart is late. Ugh, it gave me fits yesterday and I’m still not pleased with it. I’m going to keep working on it until I have something that doesn’t give me the shudders when I think of others reading it.
