Okay, so looking at my list of upcoming shows, I think it truly proves either my devotion to Kdrama or my sheer tenacity to not give up. I’m sure if you read my reviews you wonder, does she like every show she watches? It’s highly unlikely that every show you pick is purely awesome.
There are a few shows I either don’t care for, couldn’t finish, or ended so angry I wasted so much time on such a piece of… well, you get the point. And they are all coming up. Wahoo. This week is My Love Patzzi which falls under the eh category, next week is Attic Cat which I couldn’t finish, then we get a break for one week to watch my first melodrama, then it’s back to the worst, with my absolute least favorite Kdrama, Princes First Love. I’m guessing Princes First Love is going to be a fun one to read as I am still angry about it. UGH!
Very interesting each of these shows have a major connection Kim Rae Won plays the hero (and I say that loosely) in each of these shows. I think we may have to have a post just on how much I dislike his acting, or at least the characters he chooses. I’m going to go out on a limb and say I’m never going to watch another show he stars in.
On the upside though, I did like the actor who played SJ, Kim Jae won. Funny story, I bought a show called Can You Hear My Heart through ebay, when I realized this was a very bad idea I didn’t watch it. A couple of months later, I decided to give it a try through my Roku box and DramaFever. As it’s one my favorite shows, I’m so glad that I did. However, while I was watching it, I kept thinking that the hero looked kind of familiar. It took me about 12 episodes to realize ITS THE SAME GUY! There is a rumor out there that Korean actors come back from their military service much cuter and Kim Jaewon certainly proves their point.
Anyway. This week is My Love Patzzi (also known as My Love Cindy or My Feisty Girl), which is the least offensive of the bunch. Luckily, at 10 episodes, its shorter than any other Kdrama I have seen. It ran from 8/26/02-9/24/02 on MBC.
